The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers to the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency stated it truly is alarmed regarding the substantial amount of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The purpose from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your high quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office devoted to service the area on a daily basis. The service stage developed for intervention experiences a higher influx of possible beneficiaries, which makes it difficult for the Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra means to empower the sassa status check servicing of all buyers and improve access to Social Assistance products and services,” the agency sassa said.
